Genomics Building

RBB Architects Inc in collaboration with Shepley Bulfinch Richardson & Abbott as Design Architect, are currently in the planning phases of a $53 million Genomics Building for UC Riverside.

The 64,000 SF research building will concentrate on plant, pest and microbial genomics.

The institute will focus on the development of new products such as medicinal plants, safer and more nutritious foods, stress-resistant crops, foods with a prolonged shelf life, disease-resistant animals, and novel bio-based products.

The UCR Genomics Building provides specialized facilities for research in the following areas:
