This $415 million, 525-bed replacement hospital will be a
complete replacement facility for the existing hospital.
The building will be over one million square feet and
will include a bi-directional steel moment frame employing
the latest joint technologies, and a contiguous matt
foundation.
As Consulting Architect, RBB is principally responsible
for the planning and design of the state of the art
digital imaging and emergency departments as well as
clinical laboratory, nutritional services, central sterile
and other support functions.
Hospital-based Radiology provides adult and pediatric
inpatient services including diagnostic radiology and
fluoroscopy, IVP/tomography, ultrasound, CT, and MRI. The
Medical Center is moving toward a fully filmless system as
part of this project.
