RBB Architects Inc. was engaged to provide design and
construction documents for the interior renovation of the
first and second floor of the Engineering Building of the
California State University, Northridge.
The $15 million, 127,000 SF renovation improves the
teaching facilities in the Engineering Building to reflect
the impact of data and technology on the engineering and
health sciences programs currently taught in the building.
Most teaching labs and lecture rooms are scheduled
to be re-built with new data, audio-visual, and
telecommunications capabilities that will enhance the
pedagogical environment.
Other areas will receive improved exhaust systems,
electrical power upgrades, and new equipment.
